The Ottumwa Fire Department is visiting schools in Ottumwa to share the importance of safety in the home in the event of a fire. Each year the Department visits the kindergarten and 2nd grade classrooms with a home simulation vehicle. Throughout the month of October, all students are made of aware of fire prevention safety.
