Attention all inventors! The local Invention Convention will be held Monday, February 4 at Liberty Elementary from 5:30 – 8 p.m. If needed, a snow date has been set for Monday, February 11, same time and place.
Informational forms will be in each school office starting in January. Any Ottumwa district student in grades K-8 is eligible to participate in the convention. Those participating must create a simple, working invention and tri-fold poster. Students in grades 3-8 will be required to create an inventor’s log documenting their work. The event is hosted by the Ottumwa School District’s Talented and Gifted Department.
