Cargill presented a big check to Wilson Elementary School Thursday afternoon.
Jeff Frederick, Cargill's health and safety specialist, and Becky Waller, employee and former Wilson student, presented the check during an all-school assembly. Frederick told students and staff that its an honor to support this cause and make an impact on the community. Playground committee members, Celia Fuentes and Genne Richardson, were also on hand to accept the donation. "This is a great opportunity for our kids, and the kids of the future," said Fuentes. "It will benefit the school and the whole community."
