There were a lot of reasons for students at Wilson to feel good on Thursday, December 21.
Money collected during the month of December was donated to Elite STEM Primary Academy in Houston, TX. The school Skyped with Wilson students during the assembly, holding up "Thank You" posters and waving. The students cheered when they heard, "Thank You Wilson Elementary!"
Donations of personal care products collected during the month were presented to a representative of the Agency Shelter. She explained how the supplies will help the students she works with.
And then, J. Pablo Martinez, representing the Knights of Columbus, make a $1000 donation to the Wilson Playground Project after hosting a raffle.
