Ottumwa High School had a planned power outage this afternoon after 3:30 p.m. This outage allowed Alliant Energy to fix a problem from the transformer to the building panel. The work was completed by 5 p.m. Since all internet and phone systems originate at OHS, this outage impacted the entire district.
