Parent-Teacher Conferences in the Ottumwa School District will be held Monday – Thursday, November 9-12 for grades preK-12. No classes will be held on Thursday, November 12 or Friday, November 13. All parents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to meet your student’s teacher(s) to discuss their academic and social progress.
The Ottumwa Early Childhood Center at Agassiz will host conferences on Tuesday, November 10 from 5 - 8:30 p.m. and Thursday, November 12 from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Parents will receive their scheduled appointments prior to conferences.
Eisenhower, Horace Mann, James, and Wilson Elementary Schools will hold conferences on Monday, November 9 from 5 - 8:30 p.m. Douma and Liberty will hold conferences on Tuesday, November 10 from 5 - 8:30 p.m. All elementary schools will also schedule conferences on Thursday, November 12 from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Elementary conferences are by appointment only. Please contact your child's teacher to schedule an appointment time if you haven’t already.
Conferences at Evans Middle School will be held on Monday, November 9 from 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and Thursday, November 12 from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. in the teacher classrooms. Seventh and eighth grade parents do not need an appointment. Sixth grade conferences will be held by appointment. Seventh and eighth grade report cards will be handed out at the main entrance. Sixth grade report cards will be handed out by the classroom teacher. Please use the main entrance to enter the building.
Ottumwa High School and ACA conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 10, from 4 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Thursday, November 12, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 4-7 p.m. On Tuesday, OHS teachers will be available at tables in the OHS cafeteria. No appointments are necessary. On Thursday, OHS teachers will be in their classrooms for 10-minute drop-in sessions from 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. Teachers will be available in the cafeteria from 4-7 p.m. Parents can pick up their student’s report card and teacher contact information during the day at the table outside the Welcome Center door (Room 105) and in the evening in the cafeteria.
ACA parents need to call 683-1342 for an appointment. ACA conferences will be held at the Indian Hills airport location, 15260 Truman Street.
