The OHS Girls Swim Team is sponsoring their 3rd Annual Technique Clinic for youth during the week of June 6 from 8-10 a.m. at The Beach Ottumwa. The clinic is open to swimmers in grades second through eighth grade. Instructors will include OHS girls swim coach, Cherie Langland, as well as members of the OHS boys and girls swimmer teams.
Special guest instructors will include Heidi Owens, OHS boys swim coach; John Weber, former collegiate swimmer for UCLA; Heather Simplot, head swim coach for YMCA Hurricanes, Jack Langland current collegiate swimmer for Sarah Lawrence College; and Rachel Goedkin, former collegiate swimmer for Loras College.
Cost for the week-long clinic is $25. Swimmers will receive a t-shirt and OHS swim cap. To register, contact Coach Cherie Langland at 641-799-0652.
