Ottumwa High School cheerleaders will host a Junior Cheerleader Clinic for students in grades K-6. Students in grades three, four, five, and six will attend the clinic on Tuesday, September 10 from 3:30-5 p.m. in the OHS cafeteria. Kindergarten through second graders will attend on Wednesday, September 11 at the same time and location. Students are asked to enter through the Fourth Street entrance. Cost for the camp is $15, which includes a camp T-shirt.
Students will perform on Thursday, September 12 during half-time of the sophomore football game at Schafer Stadium. Cheerleaders will teach basic cheer skills to students. Students need to wear shorts, T-shirts and tennis shoes to the camp. Junior cheerleaders wearing their camp shirt will be admitted into the game for free. All junior cheerleaders should be at Schafer by 5 p.m. on the 12th and meet the cheerleaders behind the big scoreboard on the track. Students will be asked to sit with their parents after the performance.
