The Ottumwa Community School District will host their Holiday Choir Concert for students in grades 5-8 on Tuesday, December 10 at 7 p.m. in the OHS auditorium.
The fifth grade honor choir will perform several selections, including “Papa’s on the Housetop,” “Sing We Now of Christmas,” and “Mister Frosty Winter.” The choir is directed by Kendra Elledge.
The sixth grade choir, directed by Tom Shadonix, will sing “The Water is Wide,” “The Marvelous Toy,” The Cup Song,” and “Winter Wonderland.”
The seventh grade choir will sing “Hush, Hear the Angels Sing,” “I See a Star,” “Man in the Mirror,” and “African Noel.” The eighth grade choir will sing “Christmas Fanfare” featuring Riley Albertson on the trumpet, “Snow is Falling,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.” Both choirs are directed by Pam De Boer.
