Students to Perform Holiday Vocal Concert

The Ottumwa Community School District will host their Holiday Choir Concert for students in grades 5-8 on Thursday, December 18 at 7 p.m. in the OHS auditorium.

The fifth grade honor choir will perform several selections, including “Light of Kwanzaa,” “Oh, What is Figgy Pudding,” and “Let It Go.” The choir is directed by Kendra Elledge. The sixth grade choir, directed by Tom Shadonix, will sing “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Little Drummer Boy,” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman.”

The seventh grade choir will sing “Blizzard on the Way,” “Christmas is a Feeling,” “Gloria in Excelsis” and “All on a Silent Night.”  Eighth grade choir will sing “Be the Light,” “Once Upon a December,” and “Fun, Fun, Fun!” Several soloists and small groups will be featured. Both choirs are directed by Pam De Boer.
