Ottumwa Schools will host kindergarten open house for the 2014-15 school year on Thursday, March 6 at Eisenhower, James, Horace Mann, Wilson and Liberty (for students attending Douma next year). The open house will begin at 6 p.m. and will last approximately one hour. Parents are asked to contact their neighborhood school to receive a registration packet prior to attending if they have not yet received one.
The packet contains two forms which need to be completed and returned. Forms include a student enrollment and immunization form. Please bring a copy of the child's birth certificate.
To be eligible for kindergarten, Iowa State law requires that all students must be five-years-old on or before September 15 in the year they enroll. For questions regarding kindergarten open house, contact any Ottumwa elementary school.
