Ottumwa Schools will host kindergarten registration for the 2015-16 school year on Thursday, March 5. Registration begins at 6 p.m. and will last approximately one hour. Parents are asked to contact their neighborhood school to receive a registration packet prior to attending registration. Registration packets will be mailed in mid-February.
The packet contains a student enrollment data form, to be returned during registration. Parents also are asked to provide a certificate of immunization and proof of birth.
To be eligible for kindergarten, Iowa State law requires that all students must be five-years-old on or before September 15 in the year they enroll.
