A recent food drive campaign proved to be very successful.
Principal Williams was recently notified by the Ottumwa Post Office with the results of their recent Stamp Out Hunger drive. As a school, Wilson raised 1,300 pounds! The post office reported the amount was more than any other school had raised, EVER!
The class raising the most was Ms. Flanders class with 243 pounds! They will be celebrating with pizza on Monday, June 1. Second place goes to Mr. O'Brien's class with 235 pounds. They will celebrate with cinnamon sticks and bread bites at on Monday.
