The Ottumwa Fire Department visited James Elementary to share the importance of safety in the home in the event of a fire. Each year during Fire Prevention Week the Department presents to the Kindergarten and Second Grade classrooms with a home simulation vehicle. Throughout the month of October, all students are made of aware of fire prevention safety.
