James Elementary students are earning PBIS tickets daily for demonstrating the four Bulldog Beliefs- Respect, Responsibility, Compassion and Safety. Expectations for what those different words mean in different settings are taught explicitly at the beginning of the year and reviewed regularly. Students are acknowledged for showing competency in these beliefs with the tickets. This week students are placing the tickets they earn into designated classroom areas as a vote for either Iowa or Iowa State in anticipation of this weekend's big game. Students are working hard to make their favorite team the winner at James!
