Hour of Code

Hour of Code

It's Computer Science Education Week and James Elementary has participated in an Hour of Code! An hour of Code is a social movement meant to bring awareness for the need for students to code. Coding nurtures higher level thinking skills, problem-solving skills, logic and creativity. Pictured here is Ella Green, who learned how to code using Disney's "Frozen" characters. She was up at level seven in less than five minutes! James School will continue to make time for students to learn about technology and create games themselves.
