5th Grade Career Day

5th Grade Career Day

On Friday May 29th students got a chance to met some outstanding community members! We had 10 volunteers come and talk about their careers with the 5th graders. Each career had its own station and students signed up for what career they wanted to learn about. We had a police officer, firefighter, solider, hair dresser, pastor, illustrator, a comic book store owner, a fitness studio owner and a IHCC coach! Students learned a lot about all these fields and enjoyed meeting the career representatives. Thank you so much for you time! Pictured here is Bethany Short a Behavioral Intervention Specialist and also a hairstylist! She presented on the field, scholarship opportunities and even gave a live demo while presenting!
