On March 23rd, Timothy Gray a local Falconer taught students about the art of falconry as well as about the hawk (Bodhi) he is currently training. Falconry is the sport of hunting with falcons or other birds of prey as well as the keeping and training of such birds.This ancient art is a very demanding endeavor, requiring a serious dedication of time and energy from the falconer. Students were excited to see Bodhi eat and even witnessed him molting!
