Camden Cormeny might look like your typical kid, he is smart, loves sports and riding four wheelers. That all changed when only two days after 4th grade his dad passed away. Camden found a way to cope with his loss by writing a book titled "Why? The Day My Life Changed . . ." In the book he chronicles what happened that day, coping strategies for others who have had a family member who's life was cut too short, and remembers his dad in sweet memories and funny stories. He is a hero because it takes a lot of courage to share your story and even in his grief he found a way to help others. Camden Cormeny has donated his book to James Elementary and will be working on a website that will allow others to purchase the book as well. This book is truly amazing and is a testament of the courage, love and great values that was taught to Camden by his amazing family.
