Waiting for the "dominoes" to fall!
Horace Mann students earned the January PBIS reward of Cereal Box Bonanza by being responsible, safe, respectful and compassionate 3,650 times! Classes competed to bring unopened cereal boxes to line up like dominoes. Mrs. Duff's third graders won the right to start the fall with 47 boxes donated. Mrs. Schneckloth's class was second with 44 and Mrs. Weilbrenner's class was third with 42. The Food Bank of Iowa was the recipient of 248 boxes of cereal from our Bonanza. A big thank you to all of our families for the donations that made this event possible.
When the fall started upstairs, you could hear the cheers as the boxes fell uninterrupted down to the ground floor. Our fifth grade "setters" were very proud of their work.
