Each year, the Horace Mann 5th graders have fun with pumpkins incorporated into a lesson about our world. The seven continents and four oceans are identified on the "globe". Grammer is included in the lesson with the importance of capitalizing proper nouns. After the project, the students take their pumpkins home to share with their families
