Ms. Kathy Schuitema
Each week, Horace Mann features a "Staff Person of the Week" and this week, we recognize Ms. Kathy Schuitema, second grade teacher!
Ms. Schuitema's favorite activity is playing games. Her favorite movie is "FROZEN." As for her favorite snack, it is chocolate and her favorite color is blue. If you ask about her favorite book, she will say, "All the books!" It is Ms. Schuitema's dream that all the kids love reading and writing stories as much as she does.
Ms. Schuitema gets to park in the Reserved Parking spot this week. She also receives compliments, gratitude, kind words, and jokes from her colleagues. Students can write kind thoughts to Ms. Schuitema on the "Staff Person of the Week" board in the hallway. Parents can too, if you stop by!
