Mrs. Duckworth
Each week, Horace Mann features a "Staff Person of the Week" and this week, we recognize Mrs. Katherine "Katie" Duckworth, physical education teacher!
Mrs. Duckworth's favorite activities include playing outside with her children. Her favorite movie is "Grumpy Old Men." If you were to ask her favorite color, it is teal. You may find her enjoying cheesy popcorn while reading her favorite book, Into the Woods, by Bill Bryson. It is Mrs. Duckworth's dream to have a "huge piece of land up north where I can fish and hunt whenever I want."
Mrs. Duckworth gets to park in the Reserved Parking Spot this week. She also receives compliments, gratitude, kind words, or jokes from her colleagues. Students can write kind thoughts to Mrs. Duckworth on the "Staff Person of the Week" board in the hallway. Parents can too, if you stop by!
