Part of being a PBIS--Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports--school is having staff recognition. Each week, a staff member is identified as the Horace Mann Staff Person of the Week. The staff person of the wee receives emails from colleagues with compliments and positive message, gets to park in a reserved spot, and now has the opportunity to receive positive messages from students written on the interactive bulletin board.
