Horace Mann First Graders visited Pioneer Ridge on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Students looked at creatures they found while digging in the pond with nets. Students were fascinated by tadpoles, bugs at different stages, and snakes! The connection between what is presented in the classroom and the actual environment is a valuable part of learning.
