Fifth Graders Make Ottumwa Shine

Students pick up trash in Memorial Park.

Fifth graders recently spent the afternoon at Memorial Park as part of the city's Make Ottumwa Shine effort. The semi-annual event is used to encourage residents to get out and pick up trash in areas throughout the city.
