The Horace Mann PTA is sponsoring their Third Annual Walk-A-Thon on Friday, May 8 at 1:30 p.m. in conjunction with Live Healthy Iowa Go the Distance Day. Students, staff and friends of Horace Mann will walk in memory of Aidan Baumgartner, a 4th grader who recently lost his fight with cancer. The event is also a fundraiser, with proceeds going to Aidan's family to help cover medical expenses.
The students will walk 30 minutes with family, friends, and OHS football players, band and JROTC.
