Janelle Eskew
Horace Mann fifth grader, Janelle Eskew, is following in her sister's footsteps.
She wrote a United Way grant to provide socks and personal care products to those in need. Her sister, a Horace Mann alumni, also wrote a grant to create Birthday Bags that will be distributed to needy families so all kids can have a party on their special day. She was recently featured in an Ottumwa Courier article.
