Two Students Compete at State Invent Iowa

Two Ottumwa elementary students will participate in the State Invent Iowa competition.  Winners of the virtual competition will be announced on April 20 to move onto the National Invention Convention, which will be held virtually in May. Students are: Charles Smith, 1st grade, Eisenhower, and Madalynn Sertterh, 4th grade, Liberty. Charles' invention was the "H.E.R.B.:  Home Emergency Responder Beacon" and Madalynn created "Maddy's Material Sorter."
