Fall Prairie Provides Beauty to Eisenhower

Eisenhower's prairie is still alive with animals and flowers. On a recent day, monarch butterflies and bees were enjoying the last blooms of the season. Plants you will see blooming now include sky blue aster, compass plant, sunflower, blazingstar and goldenrod. Many seed heads also provide interest this time of year in the prairie, including rattlesnake master, milkweek, butterfly weed, and cone flowers.
