The Ottumwa Bulldogs Archery Team competed in a tournament in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, February 4. Medalists included: Xander Johnson, Eisenhower Elementary, 1st place; Erinne Mendibles, James Elementary, 1st place; Jeffrey Shauman, Evans Middle School, 1st place; and William Miller, Horace Mann, 3rd place.
The archery team will host their second home tournament on Saturday, February 11 from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. at Evans Middle School. Trophies won by the team will be awarded to building principals and Superintendent Nicole Kooiker at noon.
