In an effort to be ever vigilant regarding school safety and security, Douma is undergoing a security upgrade to our front entrance.
Starting tomorrow, the door from the vestibule to the main office will have a secure buzzer entrance. This door will have a doorbell directly to the left of it. Ringing this bell will allow office staff to buzz you into the main office. This additional security measure allows Douma to be completely secure during school hours and offers staff an opportunity to visually assess those seeking to enter the building prior to them gaining full access.
During peak times of day, this may mean a slight delay in entering the building. We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to do our best to provide a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff.
