We know that many of you utilize the shuttle and other busing services provided by Durham School Services. Here are a few important reminders regarding busing.
1. Parents/Guardians must contact Durham (641-954-9900) directly EVERY YEAR to confirm your child's bus route. Routes may change from year to year. ROUTES HAVE HAD CHANGES THIS YEAR.
2. We rely on the information provided by you and Durham when placing students on afternoon buses. We can only be as accurate as the information we have. PLEASE share how your child will get home with your teacher on or before the first day of school.
3. It is critical that we have the most up to date contact & emergency information for you so we can get in touch with you in a timely manner should we have questions for you.
4. Durham School Services is a contracted vendor with Ottumwa Community School District, it is a parent/guardian responsibility to work directly with Durham to set up busing/shuttle services for your child/children (excluding students entitled for specialized curb to curb transportation).
