Three OCSD staff members were nominated Bulldogs of the Week for the week of April 25. Congratulations to Joe Roberts, Stacey Barnett, and Kristen Carlson.
Joe Roberts - A first year history teacher and head tennis coach, Joe loves his content area and building relationships with his students. He loves the culture of OHS and is looking forward to growing as a teacher.
Stacey Barnett - In her sixth year, Stacey is the 6th grade Aspire lead at Evans. She loves the staff that she works with and supports on a daily basis as well as building relationships with her students. Her goal is to help students set themselves up for success. She looks forwards to the changes taking place as part of the district's Be The Best initiative.
Kristen Carlson - Kristen loves teaching. She currently teaches first grade at Eisenhower. A 25-year veteran, she previously taught kindergarten and second grade. Students learn to read in first grade and it changes their life. Her favorite part of teaching is when a student "get's it." She is a proud Bulldog, with a her entire family graduating from OHS. "I love being a Bulldog!"
