For the final week, Bulldogs of the Week will focus on our 2022 retirees. This week, we highlight Sandy Sanders, Tracy Stice, and Teresa Vanderpol. Congratulations on your retirement!

Sandy Sanders - Sandy is a bulldog at heart. A teacher in Ottumwa for the past 26 years, she is currently a kindergarten teacher at Douma. She loves her students and couldn't ask for a better school district to work for. She appreciates the wonderful staff and colleagues to collaborate with. She feels Ottumwa Schools is a great disrict to retire from.

Tracy Stice - A custodian for 26 years, Tracy currently is the head custodian at Liberty Elementary. Her favorite memory is of the 17 years she worked at OHS. She loves working with high school students and was glad to be able to be a support to the students who needed it. Her advice for those working in education is to be respectful.

Teresa Vanderpol - Teresa will retire from Eisenhower as an associate. She works in the library, at recess, lunch, whereever she is needed. Her favorite part of her job is spending time with students, especially those who come to the library. She has always made herself available whenever a student needs her.
