Three staff members were nominated Bulldogs of the Week, including Jennifer Braundmeier, Alisha Zwer, and Megan Meinders.
Jennifer Braundmeier - Jennifer is a BD teacher at Ottumwa High School. She loves her job and loves working with her students. Formerly an elementary teacher, she has found a new passion. She said her students strive to be their best every day. She is excited to have a long career in Ottumwa.
Alisha Zwer - Alisha works with middle school students as special education teacher. What she loves about working wtih this age group is the amount of growth you are able to see. She loves those "aha" moments when a student struggles and finally gets it. She can't imagine working anywhere else.
Megan Meinders - Megan has worked for Ottumwa Schools for 13 years, currently as a second grade teacher at Eisenhower. She feels she works with the best teachers and staff in Iowa. She loves the opportunities to collaborate and learn from each other - one of the things she loves about Ottumwa. Those opportunities make her a better teacher and better for her students.
