Three members of Bulldog nation were nominated as Bulldogs of the Week. Recipients include Sierra Simmons, Carrie Long, and Katelyn Coon.
Sierra Simmons - Sierra Simmons has taught math at Ottumwa High School for the past two years. Her department is like family and she loves her students. Her goal is that not only are her students successful in her classroom but also in life.
Carrie Long - In her eighth year at Evans, Long feels that Evans is a community, a family. As the 8th grade Aspire Lead, she feels fortunate to work at Evans. "I wouldn't change what I do or who I work with," she said.
Katelyn Coon - This third grade teacher has been teaching at Wilson for four years. She not only loves her students but also the staff she works with. She strives to make learning fun in her classroom, making it interesting and engaging. Her goal is to foster the desire to learn in her students and for them to become lifelong learners.
