Ottumwa Schools will participate in Main Street's Holiday Open House to showcase both the recently renovated Career Campus and the district's new Welcome Center.
The open houses will be held on Thursday, November 18 from 5-8 p.m. at 331 and 325 E. Main. Community members will be able to tour both facilities and meet facility coordinators David Bossou and Laura Quijano Larson; learn about programs; listen to strolling singers from Ottumwa High School; and sample cookies baked by members of the high school's Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) club. The courtyard between the two facilities will also be decorated and a lighting event will be held at 6 p.m.
A video highlighting other projects across the district will be available for viewing. Open Houses for the preschool and elementary schools will be held in the spring.
