Here are the Bulldogs of the Week of November 8:
An Ottumwa native, Heather Swanstrom teaches science at OHS. She believes in our community and her students and wants to give back. She loves going to work each day and feels her students teach her as much as she teaches them.
Evans secretary, Kara Serreth, is a proud Bulldog. An OCSD alumni, she loves the strong sense of community at Evans. She also loves working at the school her daughter attends.
Kindergarten teacher, Melanie Dalbey, wants her students to fall in love with learning. She loves being a teacher and being part of a team, not only at Douma Elementary but also part of the bigger picture at the district level.
