This week, four Ottumwa staff members were presented Employee of the Month awards for November. These staff members were nominated by a student, parent, or fellow staff member for continually going above and beyond for our students, staff, and families. Each received an Ottumwa gift bag from Superintendent Mike McGrory featuring a variety of OCSD promotional items.
The Employees of the Month for November include: Devin Baker, OHS teacher; Kaitlyn Monohon, food service truck driver; Tanya Knight, an associate at Horace Mann, and Jeromey King, Assistant Director of Technology.
These staff members will be recognized by the Ottumwa Board of Education at our next meeting on Tuesday, November 9. The recognition will be done at the beginning of the meeting. Family members, co-workers, and community members are encouraged to attend to show their support and appreciation of these employees. “It’s an honor each month to recognize our outstanding employees,” said McGrory. “To Be The Best means having staff members who are making a difference in the lives of our students and families.”
