OHS senior, Cale Leonard is the 2021 4A Boys Golf state champion. The state golf meet was held at Beaver Hills Country Club. He shot a three-under par 69 on Friday and finished Saturday with a 70.
Leonard is the first Bulldog golfer to win the state golf tournament since Matthew Walker, who won two state titles for the Bulldogs as a sophomore in 2010 and a senior in 2012. The state tournament win was the ninth meet of the season in which Leonard earned medalist with the top individual score.
