A huge thank you to Ottumwa Hy-Vee stores. In August, they held a "Stuff the Bus" event to encourage community members to donate school supplies. Donations from the three store locations were valued at approximately $1,000 and included, paper, notebooks, pens, glue sticks, disinfectant wipes, and facial tissues. Hy-Vee then matched the donations with $1,000. Hy-Vee managers presented the district with the supplies and a check on September 2 to be used to purchase additional school supplies.
