Becky Ingle
I am originally from Cedar Falls and went to UNI. I got my Master's from Truman State in 1986 and then got a Permanent Professional License in 1987 ( probably the only teacher in the district that has one!)  The 60 hours were obtained over the next 10 years - 6 hours a summer!  Third grade is the best grade in my opinion! I student taught in Ottumwa at Pickwick Elementary and Horace Mann. My first position was at Pickwick with a 3rd/4th grade split classroom, then taught 3rd grade for two years and 5th grade.  I moved to Wildwood Elementary where I taught 3rd grade for over 10 years with the exception of kindergarten for a year.  In 2001, I transferred to Horace Mann where I have taught 3rd grade the entire time.  During that time I received my Master's Degree and an additional 60 hours of education.  I have been very fortunate to work with great teachers and principals for the last 38 years!
