370 staff members in the Ottumwa district received their first Covid-19 vaccine in February. The effort was coordinated in collaboration with Wapello County Public Health and Wapello County Emergency Management. Staff will receive their second dose in March.
Current plans are to continue with existing safety protocols through the end of the 2020-21 school year, based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control.
