Robot Parade
Thanksgiving Treat
Students in second grade at Bridge Street school orchestrated a Thanksgiving Day float parade using small robots. The students decorated plastic cups that were placed over the small robots, Ozobots, and designed a course for the robots to follow. The small robots are able to detect marker on a blank page and follow the line, students created ziz zags, swirls, and more. Each student’s track was connected to form a parade route.
Each second grader worked with a partner to decorate a balloon and cup. Kids create floats of bees, unicorns, Patriots players, and more. The full 2nd grade then gathered to listen to parade music and watch the floats go by.
