RK Finn Ryan Road Elementary CARES!

At Ryan Road Elementary, teachers and students use the Responsive Classroom strategies to help students build academic and social-emotional skills for success in and out of school. The Student Leadership Team at RK Finn Ryan Road has developed a video to illustrate the core set of social and emotional principles—cooperation, assertiveness, responsibility, empathy, and self-control — or C.A.R.E.S!

The leadership team wrote a script and acted out scenarios to show how these principles can be used in daily interactions within the community.  We hope you enjoy the end result!
