David was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, but spent summers visiting Western MA to attend Camp Becket in Becket, MA.  He started his teaching career in the Mott Haven neighborhood in the Bronx teaching 1st grade.  Since then he has taught preschool, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, 7th & 8th grade History, been the Garden Educator for a small school, and run an Adventure Recess program.  He is thrilled to be the Technology Integration Specialist for Jackson Street and Bridge Street schools.  David moved the Pioneer Valley in 2015 and has been psyched about it ever since.

David earned his B.A. and M.S.Ed. from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY.
