School Video Project
School Video Project—Last Call for Input (by Friday, February 28) Currently only three families have responded to the survey. We can do better than that! Thank you!
I hope you have seen the Kindergarten video that was created this past fall. It is right at the top of our school website. This project started at Leeds (the videographers are parents there) and has expanded to try and get the word out about all that is going on in our public schools.
The project will continue with a video about our whole school and some testimonials from teachers and parents. I sent other information and permission slips home a couple of weeks ago. We’ll be sending out another to those students who have not returned their permission slips. Call the school office if you did not receive this information. Kindergarten families did not get sent the new permission slips, since we already have yours from the fall.
Here is some information from the videographers:

Photos
This week’s photos show a few of the incredibly creative 100 Day of School vests that our kindergarten students created for the fabulous parade. Also, there are some photos of that fun event! What a nice tradition here. Most of our older students remember what they put on their own vests in kindergarten.
Also, some students are seen investigating the inside of beans as part of the program with Grow Food Northampton. It was a mix of science and cooking as they prepared Corn Bean Tomato Salsa. Yum!
The other photo is of our wonderful therapy dog from Bright Spots who is intently listening to first grade readers. The dog comes every Tuesday morning to be a good listener and provide furry comfort.
