Principal Madden’s Weekly Update—Week of April 9

Principal Madden’s Weekly Update—Week of April 9

Spring (hopefully coming soon!) greetings!

Photos this week show the fabulous cast from our YEP theater class. They performed a really wonderful show of Ferdinand last week. What a treat!

Another photo is of our first visit from the Bright Spot therapy dog that our Adjustment Counselor, Vickie Brown arranged. Many of our first graders joyfully read to the dog on Tuesday.

The other photos show recess jump ropers and our newly formed 4th grade book club, led by our wonderful librarian, Mrs. Pelis.

Library Website

We have been updating the school Library website.  Are you thinking, “We have a library website?”  You are not alone.  A link to the website is available on the front page of nps.symbaloo.com or you can go directly to the link from here:

From the website, you or a student can

  • search for a book
  • see the new titles being added to the inventory each month
  • check out virtual library displays
  • catch up on all the latest happenings from the “News from the Circulation Desk”
  • or see a picture or video of the latest news in the MakerSpace!

Here is a parent perspective on children with autism:
