This fall, grade 8 students worked with Dr. Graham and Ms. Schofield on creative writing pieces to be submitted to the Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards contest, hosted regionally by the Boston Globe. JFK students did a remarkable job with this activity and on Monday, 3/5, students awarded Gold, Silver and Honorable Mentions read their award winning pieces to their families and district leadership.
